Rick Ross says his third annual car and bike show was a success despite the negative feedback he received from ticketholders.
On Saturday, June 1, the Rick Ross Car & Bike Show went down at his Promise Land ranch in Georgia. The massive event had hundreds of tricked out vehicles and motorcycles on display in his front lawn with over 12,000 people in attendance. Rozay himself hit the stage on his property alongside other artists like Quavo, Bun B, JT Money, Young Breed, Boosie Badazz and plenty more. Despite the incredible turnout, there were plenty of complaints from ticketholders who vented about several factors that prevented them from experiencing the event.
The comment section of numerous posts from the car show's official Instagram account were littered with complaints from disgruntled fans who claimed they didn't make it inside the event even after they paid $250 per person for general admission. Some people called the transportation to the event "unorganized" due to hours-long wait times and dysfunction at the designated parking lots. People also claimed the shuttles shut down after organizers allegedly ran out of wristbands to the event.
"Man 5000 of us was stuck at shuttles and missed the whole show!" one fan wrote. "It was a vibe once we got there but our energy was gone bc the check in process killed a lot of us off! To have to wait over 3 hrs was KRAZY! Man your planning committee dropped the ball with us and I really felt sorry for the ones who flew in and still couldn’t get in!"
There were numerous calls for refunds from scorned fans. After TMZ reported about the chaos outside of the event, Ross took to his Instagram Stories and shared his thoughts about the outcome of his car show.
"We made history!!" Ross wrote. "300 acres but everyone couldn't make it ha. See everyone next year."
