The Anaheim Ducks (17-18-4) defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning (20-15-2) 4-1 on Sunday evening in Anaheim. It was the fourth straight loss for Tampa Bay, who was swept in their three-game California road trip.
Frank Vatrano had two goals and an assist for the Ducks, while Jake Guentzel scored the only goal for the Lightning. Playing in the second game of a back-to-back, Jonas Johansson got the start in net and made 22 saves.
The Lightning look to snap their skid when they return home for a short two-game homestand which begins on Tuesday. The Lightning host the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night - puck drop from Amalie Arena is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
