The Boston Bruins (29-28-8) defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning (37-22-4) 4-0 on Saturday afternoon at Amalie Arena. The win saw Boston end their losing skid at three games.

It was the first game without former captain Brad Marchand for Boston, who traded him to the Florida Panthers on Friday. Boston got a goal from Cole Koepke in the second period to take a 1-0 lead, before erupting for three goals in the third to take control of the game.

Jeremy Swayman made saves on all 26 shots he faced in net to earn the shutout, while Andrei Vasilevskiy went 21-of-24 in net for Tampa Bay in the losing effort.

The Lightning are next in action when they travel to Carolina to play the Hurricanes on Tuesday night. Puck drop on Tuesday is scheduled for 7:30 PM in Carolina.
