Miami Beach Police today grieving one of their own after a crash this morning on the Gratigny Parkway. 33-year-old motorman David Caruso leaves behind a wife and 3 young children.
Police Chief Wayne Jones says Caruso was a beloved member of the force. "David has been a police officer with the Miami Beach Police Department for 10 years. A decorated hero," he said.
Florida Highway Patrol is handling the investigation. As of now, there is no information about what may have led up to the crash.
